EU MEP jobs are complex. In some ways the candidates might well be selected by the people via a robust interview process against stringent criteria, rather than elected primarily based no. of boards on posts rather than demonstrated leadership competency, track record and fitness for the role of MEP. Government and politicians in general are struggling for credibility and trust. I believe as an independent, non-party candidate who is highly qualified and hugely experienced that I can restore that trust, bring much needed respect for our "elected officials" and better represent what the people of Ireland need and deserve from our membership of the EU.
My Values
My values from being born in Ballymum, through being educated and playing sports in Rathmines to playing rugby semi-professionally with London Irish whilst working for the oil majors around the world and studying for an MBA (and now Degree in Medicine) have been hard-wired & ingrained in Trust, Honesty & Respect for People. Now is the time to Vote for these values. Vote Conor Murphy, No.1, in the European Elections, at you local Dublin polling station. Thank you most kindly in advance. I will not let you down. Let's put highly capable, suitably qualified, delivery focused, LEADERS, into these important European Parliament positions. Please do not waste your vote, it is time for change, Ireland badly needs fresh eyes and fresh faces in Government positions. The coalition government and its Fianna Fail and Fianna Gael TD's/Ministers may even benefit from a little time away from the spotlight and these particularly gruelling roles. Let's get leaders with a proven track record of senior leadership and delivery, into Dublin's MEP seats. Please vote for me, Conor Murphy, as No.1 candidate on June the 7th.
My Promise
There are many truly complex issues in Europe. Many that I have reviewed and researched require an exceptionally high level of education & academic capability. I herewith commit to getting all of the Irish people in Ireland to a much greater level of contentment and satisfaction with respect to how they are treated and valued by Government in Ireland & in Europe. And I will start by communicating openly, honestly and clearly each week on all the matters relating to Energy, Health/++Hospitals, Education, Family, Equality, our Young, our Elderly and Sport/Fitness & Mental Health.
